"Shadow"

We mentioned the arrival of "Shadow", Benjamin Moore's colour of the year, in our previous post about 2017's hottest design trends. This lilac-grey is described as "allusive and enigmatic". We couldn't agree more. We certainly can't wait to start using it in various design projects of our own - both in residential and retail spaces.

Some people may be unsure about using such a strong, dark colour in any major way. We're here to tell you to take the plunge - you won't be disappointed. You might struggle to find pure paints and materials in "Shadow" in South Africa, but you'll definitely be able to experiment with varying shades of grey and purple-grey which are close enough to the original.
